The Oklahoma Sooners have had some notable players in their history that went on to play in the NFL.

Hollywood Brown was one of the most recent and dynamic performers.

He joined Oklahoma in 2017 and played for head coach Lincoln Riley. As a true freshman, Brown had an immediate impact. He played an important role in Oklahoma’s explosive offense, collecting passes from quarterback Baker Mayfield. Brown was a member of the team that advanced to the College Football Playoff, losing to Georgia in the Rose Bowl.

Brown rose to prominence among college football receivers. He played a major role in Oklahoma’s offense alongside quarterback Kyler Murray. His quickness allowed him to spread the field, which was a highlight of his performance. This season, he recorded over 1,000 receiving yards and was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which honors the nation’s greatest receiver.

Unfortunately, Brown sustained a foot injury throughout the season but returned for the College Football Playoff. Despite the injuries, he made major contributions and declared for the NFL Draft following the season.

Brown was later picked by the Baltimore Ravens, where he made some excellent memories, but was never used to his full potential. His next job, of course, was the Arizona Ravens, where he was on a poor team both years, and now he has a chance to help the Kansas City Chiefs win their third straight Super Bowl, with former Oklahoma Sooners center Creed Humphrey, who recently received a large paycheck.

However, Bown has one issue: he is injured and will miss the first game of the season, which will be against his former team, the Ravens. According to A to Z Sports Kansas City’s Charles Goldman and the Chiefs injury report, Bown is anticipated to miss this week and potentially a few more games.

You want to see him out there, but his sternoclavicular dislocation prevents him from doing so.
