Former Ohio State Quarterback Heads Team To Huge 12 Victory

Quinn Ewers, a former quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes, has a great game on Saturday in the Big 12 Championship game for the Texas Longhorns.

With four touchdowns and over 500 passing yards, the former Buckeyes signal caller guided his new club to a 49-21 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. This season, Ewers has passed 250 passing yards eight times, the most recent being against the Cowboys.

These games include 349 yards on September 9 against the Alabama Crimson Tide, 325 yards on September 30 against the Kansas Jayhawks, and 346 yards on October 7 against the Oklahoma Sooners, who were ranked third at the time.

At the conclusion of the 2021 campaign, Ewers decided to return home to his own state rather than sit on the bench in Columbus and left the Buckeyes. The sophomore is currently enjoying his second successful season as the Longhorns’ starting quarterback, suggesting that his choice paid off.

Fans of Ohio State were cheering for Ewers and Texas since they are one of the teams who could prevent the Scarlet and Gray from making it to the College Football Playoff (CFP). Despite having just one loss between their records, the No. 6 Buckeyes and No. 7 Longhorns will almost definitely prevail because of the conference title.

The win helped the Longhorns improve their record. Texas enters the final CFP selection show, which is set to air tomorrow at noon eastern on ESPN, with a 12-1 overall record and the conference title.
