Former Ipswich Player Finds New Destination

Harry Wright, a former Blues U21s goalkeeper, has joined Felixstowe & Walton United of the Isthmian League North.

Wright, the son of Blues legend Richard, began last season with Witton Albion in the Northern Premier League before joining Bury as the Gigg Lane club advanced to the North-West Counties League Premier Division play-off final, where they were defeated on penalties by Wythenshawe Town.

The 25-year-old was released by the Blues in the summer of 2021 without making a senior appearance, and he moved on to Fleetwood.

Max Hudson, 19, a former Blues U21s full-back who was released by Town last summer, has joined Dulwich Hamlet after previously playing for Concord Rangers and Hayes & Yeading United.

Meanwhile, Seth O’Neill, a released academy midfielder, has signed a two-year agreement with Ipswich Wanderers after spending last season on loan at Felixstowe & Walton and Stowmarket Town.

O’Neill, 19, had been with the Blues since he was 13 and left at the end of the season.
