Former Denver Broncos quarterback Sued for Scandalous Reasons

There are seven rounds in the NFL Draft, so it’s not surprising that teams like the Denver Broncos have a high turnover rate on their rosters.

After all, not everyone can make it into the league, and there is always new talent to replace underperforming players.

Some drafted athletes who do not live up to their promise typically remain professional for a year or two before being discharged.

Fans rarely hear about these guys when they fail to turn their NFL goals into long-term realities.

This is not the case for Chad Kelly. The Broncos’ seventh-round pick has once again made headlines. Unfortunately, his comeback to relevance was in poor taste.

Former Denver Broncos quarterback sued for wrongful dismissal suit.
Kelly missed his shot to play in the NFL and now plays for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League. However, his tenure in Canada may come to an end once he is sued for unlawfully terminating one of his former colleagues.

As TSN first reported, Kelly was implicated in a wrongful dismissal case brought by a former Argonauts strength-and-conditioning coach.

The lawsuit was filed in Toronto on Tuesday.

The plaintiff claims that Chad Kelly continuously attempted to initiate romantic relationships by asking her out on multiple occasions.

Despite her courteous refusals, Chad persisted in his advances, demonstrating a pattern of behavior that raised concerns.”

The lawsuit also detailed another incident in which Kelly accused the plaintiff of being romantic with a coworker, claiming that he wanted to see the plaintiff fired. The Argonauts decided not to renew her contract.

This was not Kelly’s first encounter with the law. He effectively ended his NFL career after getting arrested for trespassing.

The Denver Broncos selected Kelly with the 253rd pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Kelly attended Clemson and Ole Miss in college, and his junior year with the Rebels was his greatest season.

If the lawsuit proceeds, Chad Kelly’s professional career will come to an end.
