For their World Cup semifinal matchup against the All Blacks, Argentina made a single change

The sole alteration made by Argentina from their Saturday World Cup semifinal victory over Wales in Marseille is the addition of scrum-half Gonzalo Bertranou to the starting lineup in place of Tomas Cubelli. Argentina will play the All Blacks on Friday.

Head coach Michael Cheika unexpectedly selected Biarritz No. 9 Cubelli for the quarterfinal win, but he has been left out of the matchday squad entirely for the encounter at the Stade de France. The eight players on the bench from the team that defeated Wales in the last quarter at the Stade Velodrome have not altered.

Center Santiago Chocobares left the field in the first half of the quarterfinal due to a head injury, but he passed his head injury exam and is now able to return to the starting lineup.
