For the fifth straight game, Packers CB will be out

When the Green Bay Packers play the New York Giants on Monday night, cornerback Jaire Alexander of Green Bay will miss his fifth straight game.

Alexander will not play against the Giants (4-8) because of a shoulder injury, the Packers (6-6) said on Sunday. He was on the Saturday injury report, marked as questionable.

Christian Watson, a wide receiver, was already ruled out by Green Bay due to a hamstring issue. Over the course of the Packers’ three-game winning streak, Watson had scored four touchdowns.

This season, Alexander has only appeared in five games. Before being sidelined due to a shoulder injury, he missed three games due to a back injury.

The game on Monday is questionable for Packers cornerback Eric Stokes (hamstring), safety Darnell Savage (chest), and running back Aaron Jones (knee). It’s uncertain about linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder).
