Following Justin Jefferson’s latest news, fans react

Even with their standout wide receiver Justin Jefferson sidelined since early October due to a hamstring injury, and without their ailing main quarterback, the Minnesota Vikings have managed to secure sixth place in the NFC.

The Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams have entered the race for a Wild Card playoff position, meaning the Vikings will need to win multiple games to advance, beginning this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

According to Tom Pelissero, Jefferson is anticipated to eventually return to action in that match.

For the first time since his hamstring injury in Week 5, #Vikings All-Pro WR Justin Jefferson was a full participant in practice today. He’s set to return Sunday at Las Vegas.

Fans are largely happy to see one of the NFL’s best wide receivers play once again.

These fans are also happy because it could mean help for their fantasy football teams.

Prior to his injury, Jefferson was having a great season. In his first five games this year, he had three touchdowns and 571 receiving yards.

He’s likely the best wide receiver in the league right now when healthy, especially considering his quickness downfield and capacity for long-distance contested catches.

T.J. Hockenson, the tight end, has performed admirably in his absence, and Jordan Addison, the rookie wide receiver, has amassed 686 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games.

After Jefferson’s death, a lot has changed in Minnesota, primarily because Josh Dobbs has taken Kirk Cousins’ place at quarterback following his injury (a torn Achilles).

The next three weeks of the regular season will see Minnesota play the Detroit Lions twice and the Packers once, making for a challenging final-round schedule.
