Following a late match cancellation, Rotherham manager Taylor sends a message to Town supporters

The Ipswich Town supporters were apologised to by Rotherham United manager Matt Taylor after the game was postponed tonight due to inclement weather.

The Millers had originally claimed that the game would go on, but after talking with safety experts, they decided to call off the play soon after 4.30 p.m.

“It’s so disappointing that the game isn’t on,” Taylor told the Rotherham Advertiser after arriving at the stadium.

“We recognize how important it is for fans to be safe. We are sorry to the supporters of Ipswich who had a pointless trip.”
