Five-star offensive tackle sets visit with Georgia football

David Sanders, a five-star offensive tackle recruit, has scheduled a visit with the Georgia Bulldogs for March 16.

Sanders is also scheduled to visit Clemson on March 10, Alabama on March 23, Tennessee on April 12, and South Carolina (official visit) on April 19.

Sanders, a member of the 2025 class, just announced his top six institutions. Every school Sanders visits is in his top six. Sanders is considering but will not visit Ohio State this spring.

Sanders, a high school football player from Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, is the second-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports. Sanders is the #1 offensive tackle recruit and the best player in North Carolina.

Sanders’ top schools are Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Ohio State.

Rivals has projected Sanders will commit to the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia has five commitments in the 2025 recruiting class and is ranked eighth in the nation. Sanders is a top recruit for Georgia football.

Georgia has a few connections to Providence Day. Several of Sanders’ high school teammates have received scholarship offers from the Bulldogs. Providence Day has won three consecutive state championships in North Carolina. Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs have signed Providence Day’s four-star defensive back Chris Peal for the class of 2023.

David Sanders just shared his top six schools on social media. Sanders has agreed to play in the 2025 All-American Bowl. The 6-foot-6, 270-pound offensive tackle is still growing into his body but has excellent mobility. Georgia offered a scholarship to David Sanders in March 2022. The five-star player also gets action at defensive end and tight end.
