Fans react to one of Michigan’s top players tearing his ACL

The Ohio State-Michigan rivalry is among the finest in all sports.

Both schools have a lot of on- and off-field animosity for one another, yet there are times when they feel for each other. On Monday, Matt Zenitz of 247sports and CBS Sports reported that Michigan’s standout safety Rod Moore tore his ACL during Sunday’s Wolverines spring practice.

Ohio State Fans Went To Social Media To Show Their Feelings

Moore is one of the top players in the country, but he could miss the entire season because recovering from an ACL injury can take 9-12 months.

Many Ohio State fans will recall Moore as the player who intercepted quarterback Kyle McCord at the conclusion of the Ohio State-Michigan game last season, giving the Wolverines the victory.

Despite the fact that Moore ruined Ohio State’s playoff prospects last season, a large number of Buckeye fans took to the social networking platform X on Monday night and Tuesday early to wish Moore the best.

Ohio State And Michigan Fans Support Eachother In Time Of Need

It’s unfortunate to watch a player rupture his ACL months before the season begins, but it was encouraging to see opponents offering happy sentiments, and hopefully Moore can recover quickly.

Ohio State and Michigan may be fierce competitors on the field, but when one of their programs suffers a severe setback, the other’s fandom rallies around the other.
