Fans React to Joe Flacco’s Inclusion on the Legendary NFL Playoffs List

The Cleveland Browns may have found their franchise quarterback.

It’s ironic that for the majority of his career, there was constant debate over whether Joe Flacco was elite or not.

The eye test often gave the impression that he was unquestionably one of the finest in the league.

Regardless of whether you like him or not, numbers don’t lie, and the figures place him near the top of several categories.

As NFL on CBS pointed out on Twitter, he’s one of the few players in postseason history to have at least ten playoff wins and 25 passing touchdowns, joining the ranks of legends such as Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, Patrick Mahomes, Terry Bradshaw, and John Elway.

Needless to say, supporters were ecstatic to learn that Flacco had been named to this restricted list.

He’s on his career’s 19th hole (or his Mother’s couch), yet he’s courageous. They can make a run if he restricts the TOs. Crazy, but if it happens, he walks into Canton. 💪

It’s absurd to believe that Browns fans, of all people, would be pulling for Flacco in 2024, but here we are.

He was sitting on his couch just two months ago, and now he’s carrying the team’s postseason aspirations.

Flacco demonstrated that he was far from finished, and while he wasn’t the first or even second pick for this club, you couldn’t do much worse than having him under center once the playoffs begin.
