Exclusive: Tottenham offer fresh bid for Nottingham Forest winger

Tottenham could make an offer for Nottingham Forest’s Callum Hudson-Odoi before June 30th, according to Football Insider sources.

On the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior writer Pete O’Rourke stated that Forest may be compelled to sell players before submitting their accounts at the end of the month to avoid spending violations.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham are keeping an eye on Hudson-Odoi’s status with the Reds after he has put up some strong displays since moving to the City Ground last summer.

O’Rourke believed Forest might make a “huge” profit on the England international after purchasing him for £5 million from Chelsea.

Spurs officials have always intended to sign a younger offensive player this summer, and the 23-year-old is one of several wide forward targets under consideration.

The winger’s contract with Forest runs until 2026.

Callum Hudson-Odoi could join Tottenham before 30 June

Tottenham have had a long-standing interest in Hudson-Odoi, who was previously regarded as one of England’s most promising young players.

After failing to make the grade at Stamford Bridge and disappointing on loan at Bayer Leverkusen in the 2022-23 season, the winger has resumed his career at City Ground.

Hudson-Odoi scored eight goals in 29 Premier League appearances this season, and rumors say Forest are looking for approximately £30 million to transfer him this summer.

O’Rourke confirmed that when the transfer window reopens, other Premier League clubs and premier sides around Europe will certainly be interested in his services.

Forest will be compelled to sell players before the end of June, according to Football Insider, in order to avoid losing more points.

The Nottingham club is thought to be in danger of breaking the financial restrictions again this year, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side expected to make approximately £30 million in profit from player sales in the coming weeks.
