Georgia has witnessed major roster movement since losing to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 2, with more likely to come in the coming weeks.

The Bulldogs have had 18 players enter the transfer portal as of now, and they are awaiting final determinations from a number of players regarding their NFL draft aspirations.

The most recent roster movement in Georgia occurred on Thursday, when Maryland Head Coach Mike Locksley announced that former Georgia offensive lineman Aliou Bah will transfer to Maryland.

Bah, a former three-star prospect out of IMG Academy, was a member of Georgia’s signing class in 2022. After redshirting as a freshman, he appeared in three games this season. Locksley revealed four transfers on Thursday, including fellow offensive lineman Alan Herron, quarterback M.J. Morris, and defensive back Jalen Huskey. Bah will attend Maryland for the next three years of his eligibility.

Locksley was ecstatic about the signing of the quartet of transfer players he announced on Thursday.

“I’m really excited about these additions to our football program,” Locksley said in a statement. “We were able to address areas of need where these guys will provide some depth while also competing for playing time right away.” I appreciate that each player has multiple years of eligibility left, so we can fully integrate them into our football family, develop them, and give them a chance to make a long-lasting impact as a Terp.”
