Ex-Alabama weapon and 4-star recruit heading to Texas football via transfer portal

Following Nick Saban’s retirement announcement, some Alabama football players are leaving the team.

Kalen DeBoer is still an excellent coach, but athletes are simply looking for greater chances through the NCAA Transfer Portal. Steve Sarkisian’s talent and pedigree have made Texas football a desirable destination. Their offensive, directed by Quinn Ewers, has proven effective. This could be the cause for Amari Niblack’s decision.

The Texas football team is likely to add a new tight end after several departures. According to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports, Amari Niblack is the new weapon that Quinn Ewers will use in the Longhorns’ 2024 national championship quest. He had already committed to the Alabama football team and even played some snaps for them, but it was not his fate to continue rolling with the wave.

He caught 20 passes from Jalen Milroe, totaling 327 yards. His endzone effectiveness was also seen at Alabama. Niblack scored four touchdowns during the season. Not only will the Texas football team benefit from high-level production, but it will also gain another player who has been exposed to a winning culture. Niblack won the SEC with the Crimson Tide and was one win away from the College Football Playoff national championship game.

How will this affect Texas football’s receiving corps?

Ja’Tvion Sanders is preparing for the NFL draft. This means Niblack joins a Texas football team in desperate need of a new tight end. He is very capable of filling the post. Furthermore, he will not be alone, as Isaiah Bond transferred from the Crimson Tide to the Longhorns through the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Steve Sarkisian now has a good bunch of receivers for Ewers to use in the Texas football attack. Matthew Golden from Houston will be joining them, as will Silas Bolden from Oregon State. Sarkisian has an experienced group in his arms. Hopefully, this will be the one that secures a national title for them in January of next year.
