Ex-Alabama athlete responds to Fox Sports radio personality’s about the Dolphins

A former Alabama athlete chastised a renowned sports radio host for comments he made regarding the Miami Dolphins.

Colin Cowherd, host of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, ruffled Miami fans’ feathers by saying the club ‘constantly needs affirmation’ despite having a successful season. With an 11-4 record, the Dolphins lead the AFC East, and Tua Tagovailoa is having an MVP-caliber season as a quarterback in the National Football League. Cowherd is not crediting the team’s achievement, and a clip from his recent broadcast has gone viral on social media. Raekwon Davis, a 2020 NFL Draft second-round pick, responded to Cowherd, saying, “How about a F*** you boy and you move on!” Davis, a University of Alabama graduate, was a defensive end for the Crimson Tide from 2016 to 2019.

He won the Southeastern Conference twice (in 2016 and 2018) and the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2017.

Davis was also named first-team All-SEC in 2017.

In 15 games, the 6-foot-7, 325-pounder has 23 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack as a defensive tackle.
