Eagles’ report card grades for the head coach, owner, and more

The NFL Players Association has issued organizational grades for all 32 teams. How do the Eagles stack up?

The NFL Players Association has announced its yearly team grades. According to the NFLPA, below is the aim of this grading system:

Eagles looking to spark suddenly slumping offense facing leaky Seahawks defense – KXAN Austin

One of our primary responsibilities as a union is to improve our players’ overall working conditions, including their daily experience at team facilities away from the lights and cameras.

1,706 of our players contributed information about their present club to help them make key career decisions while also raising league standards.

Our goals were to showcase successful groups, suggest areas for improvement, and promote best practices and standards.
The Eagles receive high marks in areas of the organization that have a direct impact on on-field performance, such as training. The same is true for the head coach and owner, notwithstanding the controversy surrounding Nick Sirianni following this past season’s collapse.

Where the Eagles fall short, however, is in the personal aspects of things like travel and, most significantly, the handling of players’ families.

The following is the NFLPA’s general statement on the Birds’ report card:

The Philadelphia Eagles finished the season ranked fourth overall in the team survey report. Survey respondents routinely rate the personnel highly. The strength coaches, training staff, and head coach Nick Sirianni all receive good marks from the players.

The Eagles’ players have faith in club owner Jeffrey Lurie’s commitment to upgrading facilities. Despite having some of the smallest hot/cold tubs in the league last year, the team upgraded their tub room this offseason, which they appreciated. The players prioritize two areas for improvement: the team’s travel setup, which feels cramped in the back.
