Ipswich Town have signed Northern Ireland U16 international Darragh McCann from Glentoran.
The 16-year-old left-back has signed a three-year deal with the Blues after helping the Belfast club win the NIFL Academy League last season.
McCann was spotted by Town playing for his country in the Victory Shield as they reached the final of the tournament but were beaten 3-1 by Republic of Ireland in November last year.

He has been with theĀ Glentoran Academy since the age of 10 and is described as aĀ free-kick expert who has also played in midfield.
The Northern Irishman will initially link-up with the U18 squad for the 2024/25 season.
On signing for the club, heĀ said: āI can’t wait to get over to start pre-season, start the season and play football. I canāt wait.ā
This is the third signing of the summer for the academy, withĀ Leon ElliottĀ andĀ Abube Onuchukwu joining Town from Crystal Palace and Aston Villa respectively.
