DK Metcalf of the Seattle Seahawks has been penalized again after…

DK Metcalf’s inability to control his emotions is costing him money.

The NFL penalized the Seattle Seahawks’ wide receiver $19,123 after being ejected during the fourth quarter of the team’s 28-16 Week 14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Metcalf and 49ers defender Fred Warner got into a fight in the fourth quarter after Warner intercepted a Drew Lock pass. Warner passed the ball to Dre Greenlaw, another linebacker. Metcalf, who stated after the game that he believed Warner still had the football, scooped up Warner and smashed him to the ground. Warner then pushed Metcalf in the back. Metcalf charged forward Warner, and the two began jawing, Metcalf seizing Warner’s facemask.

Deommodore Lenoir, a former Oregon Ducks cornerback, jumped to Warner’s defense and shoved Metcalf. Metcalf and Lenoir were expelled by the officials.

Warner received a $10,927 fine, while Lenoir received a $5,617 fine.

Metcalf received his second punishment for unsportsmanlike conduct this season, and his fine increased from $13,659 to $19,123 for the second. Metcalf has been penalized six times this season for a total of more than $85,000.
