Terrion Arnold, a Detroit Lions cornerback, is being tested for a concussion after being knocked over by Giants offensive tackle Andrew Thomas during a run play late in today’s joint practice at New York’s practice facility.

The teams were practicing red zone plays when the Giants called a run play to the left side. Thomas slipped out to the flat to block and bulldoze Arnold.

In other health issues, Sam LaPorta didn’t practice today due to a small ailment. Lions head coach Dan Campbell stated that his top tight end would return shortly. He wouldn’t tell what the health problem was.

Safety Brian Branch participated in the workout portion of practice but not in any of the contact activities. He should be prepared to strike shortly.
