Derrick Henry exposes Saban’s funny rant against post-touchdown jubilation

In a recent interview with The Pivot, NFL player Derrick Henry told a hilarious incident about his former college coach, Nick Saban, which shed light on the famed coach’s distinct personality and old-school principles.

Henry, a talented running back for the Tennessee Titans and a former Alabama Crimson Tide player, remembered a notable event involving Saban’s dislike for post-touchdown celebrations during a team meeting.

According to Henry, Saban was frustrated with players who celebrated excessively after touchdowns, particularly with motions such as prayer hands.

Henry said that later that night, Saban saw some of his teammates engaging in less-than-saintly behavior.

“We were having a meeting after the game. He picked up the film and showed it to everyone. “You guys, stop showing off, doing all those prayer hands, acting like you’re thanking God,” Henry said.

“Later that night, about 12 o’clock, you were down there with Black and Milds. I have liquor and I’m chasing (ladies). “Ignore all that.”

Henry’s account offered a funny picture of Saban’s no-nonsense coaching style and demands for his players’ behavior on and off the field.
