Estimates of the coach’s tenure with the Crimson Tide are made by local media figures.

It took Kalen DeBoer exactly eleven days to realize how long his tenure as the Alabama football coach would be.

He has four years left.

Clay Travis gives him that much time, at least. Travis is a self-described shock jock and a self-made Southern mouthpiece.

More precisely, he hosts a sports radio talk show, was a writer for Deadspin and Fanhouse in the past, and created and maintains his own website, Outkickthecoverage.com.

In summary, he is a man with a lot of bizarre beliefs, and his one million YouTube viewers often find him credible.

In response to a question on Tuesday, Travis was asked if the incoming football coach for the Crimson Tide will instill terror in his opponents in the same way that Nick Saban did during his 17 seasons in Tuscaloosa.

“None at all. Travis remarked without hesitation on a chat show, “That is the answer because Kalen DeBoer will be fired in about four years.” “Fans of Alabama are going to have incredibly high expectations. What I believe Alabama supporters will realize—and I believe many of them already did, but are seeing it even more clearly now—is that Alabama never had a dynasty; Nick Saban did.”

Although there is hardly a greater fan in Seattle than the well-known sports radio presenter who openly admits to being a Husky, the corresponding Southern voice with a broad audience is already penning DeBoer’s final words before the man ever coaches a game.

Greetings from Alabama.

Travis is not the only one who has taken a few jabs at the new Crimson Tide coach. Many doubters have surfaced within the fan community to criticize DeBoer, but not to the extreme extent that Travis has.

A social media user going by the handle Jackson predicted when things will start to go wrong for the coach rather than when he will die.
