DC and Miami Dolphins part ways

It has been mutually decided that defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and the Miami Dolphins will part ways after the 2023 campaign.

“For his contributions in 2023, I would want to thank Vic. This was the wisest course of action going forward for everyone concerned, as we evaluated the season,” Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel stated. We now urgently shift our attention to 2024 and beyond in order to find the most qualified individual to head our defense going forward. We are unwaveringly dedicated to helping our players grow and to creating a successful club that can compete for years to come.”
