See what the latest layout of the recruitment of David Sanders is looking like.

Today, it was reported that five-star offensive tackle David Sanders will return to two colleges on his official visit list before committing on August 17th. Sanders will be visiting two schools: Nebraska and the Tennessee Volunteers.

This is major news for both schools because Sanders will be the best player in most recruiting classes, as he is now ranked second-best in the country on the On3 composite.

Sanders has already visited the University of Tennessee three times as part of this commitment, and his return demonstrates that the Vols are committed to this recruitment for the long term. The Sanders family has even allowed David to drive from home to campus so that he can become more comfortable returning home if he decides to enroll here.

Sanders is on a business trip, as he has previously visited both colleges and is likely looking to hammer home some final questions regarding each program.

Sanders’ decision not to return to Ohio State is a significant sign of success for the Volunteers. Ohio State was recently regarded as a slight leader over Tennessee, and based on these trips, the top two appear to be Tennessee and Nebraska.

Nebraska and Tennessee are frequently compared, and for good reason; the two institutions share many similarities, and their fan groups tend to resonate with one another. If Sanders chooses one of these two institutions, fans are likely to be less unhappy than if he chose Georgia or Ohio State.
