Daniel Farke has a new selection conundrum for Leeds United’s match against Plymouth

Following a few weeks in which Leeds United’s injury situation was comparatively easy, Daniel Farke is currently facing some selection problems at the defense for Saturday’s visit from Plymouth Argyle.

Leeds plays the Pilgrims with the intention of building on their convincing victory over Leicester on Friday night as they approach the international break.

However, Farke said on Thursday that Pascal Struijk, the stand-in captain and an excellent Dutch defender, will miss the team’s game this weekend while he recovers from double hernia surgery. After the international break, Farke wants to have the center back available.

Charlie Cresswell, another center-back, is also doubtful, and Djed Spence and Jamie Shackleton are still out, so Leeds may start to feel the pressure at the back this weekend.

Struijk’s replacement, Liam Cooper, seems like the obvious choice, but how does the rest of your Leeds United starting lineup look?

You could understand Farke’s desire to avoid making any major changes after his impressive victory at Championship leaders Leicester City and the Yorkshire derby victory over Huddersfield Town last time out, where only Archie Gray replaced the injured Jamie Shackleton.
