Crazy schedule isn’t helping the struggling Seahawks during a challenging period

The Seattle Seahawks were playing Sunday like it was a Wednesday, getting ready for a game on Thursday, while the majority of the other teams in the league were playing.

Perplexing? The Seahawks were attempting to solve the puzzle on their own.

We’re currently experiencing it. Pete Carroll, the coach of Seattle, said on Sunday, “It’s just turning your brain around because you feel like you’re on a different planet here.” “So, yes, that present’s a challenge. However, that’s the reason we made an effort to quickly resume the routine so that everything feels the same. We just go at it, sort of like a bit of a time warp.

The Seahawks are not only dealing with their toughest stretch of the schedule and a calendar they have never faced, but they have also dropped two games in a row. The Seahawks (6-5) will play on a second straight Thursday when they visit Dallas in a few days after being thrashed 31–13 by San Francisco on Thanksgiving night at home.

Carroll and his players returned to work on Sunday rather than taking an extended weekend off to relax and watch the remaining games around the league.

Wide receiver DK Metcalf of Seattle said, “It’s weird watching the games on right now and we’re going to practice.” “Practicing on a Wednesday on a Sunday seems strange, but I’m eager to get back to work.”
