Colts TE arrested and charged with…

The Colts’ tight end was arrested and charged with domestic assault.

 

Tight end for the Indianapolis Colts On Friday, Andrew Ogletree was detained for domestic abuse.

The 25-year-old was put into the Hendricks County Jail in Danville and is being held without bond, according to online Hendricks County Jail records.

He is accused of the following:

  • Domestic battery, committed in the physical presence of a child less than 16, knowing the child is present and might be able to see or hear
  • Domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury

The Colts selected Ogletree in the sixth round, 192nd overall, of the 2022 NFL Draft. He tore his ACL during training camp, preventing him from playing in his first season.

In 12 games this season, he has nine receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns.

Following his arrest, the Colts issued the following statement:

We are aware of the disturbing allegations involving Drew Ogletree. The team takes these matters seriously. We have notified the NFL and are in the process of gathering more information. We will have no further comment at this time.
