Colts sign Wide Receiver, cut OG

The Colts signed wide receiver D.J. Montgomery from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Thursday.

In a related move, they waived guard Arlington Hambright.

Montgomery has appeared in three games this season while on the active roster and the practice squad.

On August 18, he signed with the Colts.

Montgomery had time with the USFL’s Michigan Panthers and was on the Texans’ practice squad last season after training camp with the Colts in 2022.

He has also played for the Jets and the Browns.

This season, Hambright has spent time on both the active roster and the practice squad. He appeared in two games for Indianapolis.
