Colts sign Defensive Tackle

Davis, a 2020 second-round pick, appeared in 63 games (48 starts) for the Miami Dolphins over the last four seasons. 

On Friday, the Colts signed Raekwon Davis, a free agent defensive tackle.

Davis, who stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 325 pounds, has spent the last four seasons with the Miami Dolphins, having been taken in the second round (No. 56 overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft. Davis made 129 tackles, two sacks, five tackles for a loss, and ten quarterback hits in 63 games (48 starts) while predominantly playing as a run-stuffing nose tackle.

Davis has 959 run defense snaps, ranking 27th among interior defensive lineman since his debut in 2020. He also had a career-high six quarterback hits in 2023.

Davis, 26, played collegiate basketball at Alabama, where he was named first-team All-SEC in 2017 and second-team in 2019. Davis is a Meridian, Mississippi native.
