Colts RB injury status for the crucial ‘Loser Leaves Town’ Week 18 game has been revealed

The Indianapolis Colts stunned the entire National Football League this season with an outstanding and improbable 9-win season in what was anticipated to be a rebuilding year for the team. Especially given that the Colts were without their fourth-round choice and potential future quarterback, Anthony Richardson, for the majority of the game.

The Indianapolis Colts Have Demonstrated Offensive Prowess This Season

The whole offense, led by rookie head coach and former Super Bowl participant Shane Steichen, has outperformed expectations, thanks in large part to the team’s ability to run the ball.

Former Bills running back Zack Moss, in particular, has seen a rejuvenation in what was formerly a faltering career in Buffalo, and has developed into a crucial piece of the offense behind highly compensated star running back Jonathan Taylor. During Taylor’s absence, Moss had back-to-back 70-yard rushing games and has 764 yards rushing on the season.

So Will Zack Moss Play On Sunday?

Despite having officially being listed by the team as questionable, it looks like we should have a good idea of Moss’ playing status, per Mike Garofolo.

How Important Is Zack Moss’ Return For The Indianapolis Colts?

Not everything, but definitely useful for a team that hasn’t had its two top running backs available in tandem since the end of November, as previously indicated. And, as a ‘loser leaves town’ game that may be for the division if the Tennessee Titans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, this game really couldn’t have any higher stakes (at least in the regular season).

Let’s see whether Moss and Taylor can lead the Colts to their first playoff appearance since 2020, when they were led by Philip Rivers – which now seems like a lifetime ago. Indianapolis is a 1 point underdog to the Houston Texans, who are led by OROY contender C.J. Stroud.
