Colts promote duo from the practice squad to the main roster

The Colts made the roster moves on Saturday.

Indianapolis -For their game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts today promoted cornerback Chris Lammons and defensive tackle McTelvin Agim from the practice squad to the active roster.

Agim, 6-3 and 300 pounds, has been a member of the team’s practice squad the entire season. Throughout his tenure with the Colts (2022–23) and Denver Broncos (2020–21), he has participated in 17 games overall. Agim has had 1.5 sacks, two passes defensed, 1.0 tackle for loss, and 12 tackles—four of which have been solo. Originally from Arkansas, he was chosen by Denver in the third round (95th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft. Pronounce his last name as UH-geem.

Lammons, a 5-10, 190-pound player, signed with Indianapolis as a free agency on July 27, 2023, and has since spent time on the team’s practice squad. During his tenure with the Colts (2023), Miami Dolphins (2018-19), Saints (2018), Atlanta Falcons (2018), and Kansas City Chiefs (2019–22), he has participated in 42 career games. In addition to his nine single tackles, Lammons has had eight special teams stops, three passes defensed, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and eight tackles overall. In addition, he has made three appearances in postseason games and recorded two special teams tackles. Pronounce his last name as LUH-mawns.
