Colts have signed LB to practice squad

On Thursday, the Colts made a roster change.

Austin Ajiake, a linebacker, was signed to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad today.

Ajiake, 6-1, 223 pounds, has spent time this season on the practice squads of the Green Bay Packers and the Las Vegas Raiders. He attended training camp with the Denver Broncos after signing as an undrafted free agent with the organization on August 3, 2023. Ajiake had 232 tackles (117 solo), 12.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, three passes defensed, two interceptions, and one fumble recovery in 48 games (20 starts) at UNLV (2018-22). In 2022, he was named First Team All-Mountain West, and in 2021, he was named Honorable Mention All-Mountain West. His surname is spelled AH-g-kay.
