The Indianapolis Colts have signed a former third-round cornerback to the roster.
The Indianapolis Colts are still adding talent to their roster ahead of the start of the regular season, this time with a focus on practice squad help. David Long Jr., a former third-round pick and Los Angeles Rams cornerback, has been signed to the practice squad.

Long has 66 career games and 12 starts, providing vital experience to the practice squad. He may also assist the young players on the 53-man roster, such as JuJu Brents and Jaylon Jones, with principles and strategies to enhance their situation. Long’s most memorable season came as a member of the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI winning team. Long recorded a pick, 40 tackles, and four passes defended in 16 games (five starts).
