BYU receive huge message from College Football 25 over…

EA Sports College Football 25 is one of the most highly anticipated sports games in years.

Collegiate Football 25 marks the first installment in the collegiate football series since NCAA Football 14. It’s been 11 years since college fans could play a video game as their favorite team.

BYU fans will most likely be among those eagerly down the days until the official release date of July 19.

EA Sports College Football 25 “Sights and Sounds”

EA Sports offered BYU fans a reason to get excited for College Football 25 by showing them what LaVell Edwards Stadium looks like in the game. The image was part of Electronic Arts’ “Sights and Sounds Deep Dive.”

Pretty realistic.

EA Sports stated that stadiums will be striped for some major games. LaVell Edwards Stadium has hosted three games with striped sections, the most recent being 2016 season’s opener versus Sam Houston.

BYU had previously used striped sections for their home games against Georgia Tech in 2013 and Hawaii in 2012.

It will be fascinating to see whether a striped LaVell Edwards Stadium appears throughout your dynasty in College Football 25.

Details in BYU’s LaVell Edwards Stadium

EA Sports has made an effort to provide information on all 134 FBS teams, as “every team is someone’s favorite team.” That has been their motivation throughout the process.

That screenshot shows the elements that EA Sports added to LaVell Edwards Stadium. The slope up the tunnel features a blue carpet with a stretch Y. A “RISE UP” inscription appears on the wall as the BYU players go out of the tunnel.

One notable difference was the midfield stretch Y logo. Last season, BYU had a white circle and a blue stretch Y at the 50-yard line. This year’s design has a royal blue circle with a white stretch Y, similar to BYU’s primary white helmet.

BYU erected a new playing surface this season, so this may be the new look. Schools were required to give EA Sports files so that the video game company could recreate the precise appearance that everyone sees on Saturdays in the fall.

EA Sports stated in their deep dive that they intend to upgrade stadiums after launch when they receive new architecture and designs from colleges, ensuring that College Football 25 is as realistic as feasible.
