Burnley player ruled out due to illness for international game

According to regional sources, Burnley winger Luca Koleosho won’t be playing for Italy’s U-21 team in their upcoming match.

According to Sport Mediaset, the athlete hasn’t even arrived at the national team camp because of a “flu syndrome.”

After that, it’s anticipated that the Burnley player won’t be able to play in the encounter against Norway, which is only scheduled for next Tuesday.

Even if it seems like enough time for a virus to heal, a few publications now interpret his absence as an indication that he will miss that match.

Koleosho played in every one of Burnley’s Premier League games this season after joining for €3 million from Espanyol this summer. He has one goal in eight appearances so far.

Given that he has recently progressed through the youth categories of Italy, the United States, and Canada, his international career has been a little perplexing.

He actually sat on the sidelines during a few friendly Canada played last year, but he appears to have been drawn to the opportunity to represent Italy’s U-21 team. It’s unfortunate that he caught the flu just before that chance, though.
