Burnley owner begs manager to “step it up,” but manager refuses to “panic.”

Vincent Kompany, the manager of Burnley, is hoping his team can demonstrate their worth in the Premier League.

In an attempt to snap a run of four straight losses, the Clarets play at Turf Moor on Saturday for the first time in a month when they host Crystal Palace.

Kompany’s team has only four points, all of which came from away from home, and is currently in the bottom three.

He stated: “This club can advance in this league by sticking together.” However, this year is the hardest by far.

You’ve undoubtedly moved on from the Championship and now find yourself in the center of the two divisions, but there’s still a distance between you and the Premier League.

“I believe that the team is still healthy enough to be able to grow into this league and become even better in the future, but they may also go down incredibly strong. We will have to battle for every point, but I don’t think anything should surprise or worry us too much right now.

Burnley, who has lost four times at home against Manchester United, Tottenham, Manchester City, and Chelsea, did not have a nice schedule.

In their last three games, Palace has only managed one point, so Kompany stated, “It’s huge for us.” We are excited to perform in front of our supporters because we haven’t played at home in a while.

“Given the nature of the competition, I believe that no game is predictable, but rather every game presents an opportunity, and we should view tomorrow’s match as a chance to give the fans in the Premier competition what they’ve been waiting for.

“Home advantage is something I really believe in, so I do think it’s a component of any successful team’s makeup.”

JJ Watt, a former NFL player and co-owner of Burnley, stated this week on YouTube that his team needs to “step it up a little” and “show some resilience,” but Kompany is adamant that his team is acting with the proper mindset.

He said, “JJ’s someone I speak to.” There are relatively few instances in Premier League history when Burnley has not faced difficulty. There’s a way to be in these situations, a kind of unity that’s necessary.

Athletes of his caliber like him will recognize these occasions. Looking at the character we have in the team as well, I’m confident they can advance because it’s a nice environment with excellent people and staff that are working through things in a way that I would like to see.

Injury issues have not helped Kompany, who will continue to be missing Aaron Ramsey, Hjalmar Ekdal, and Manuel Benson. Josh Cullen has been suspended after receiving five yellow cards, while Lyle Foster is currently ill.

The leading scorer for the Clarets has missed the last two games, and Kompany stated that Foster is probably going to be out till after the international break although he failed to provide any specifics about his injury.

“There aren’t any signs of improvement at this time,” the Belgian stated. All I can tell is that it’s unlikely he’ll be available prior to the international break. It is an issue that needs to be resolved.

On the other hand, defender Jordan Beyer might be available following his knee injury recovery.
