Bruins’ Pat Maroon Jokingly Responds To Brad Marchand’s Game 6 Question

Pat Maroon soon became a fan favorite for his on-ice presence and outgoing nature after joining the Boston Bruins.

This continued for the Bruins forward ahead to Game 6 against the Florida Panthers. As suspicion grew about Brad Marchand’s return to the lineup, Maroon had some fun without divulging his teammate’s situation.

“He looks amazing, he got a new haircut,” Maroon said on TNT’s pregame broadcast prior to Game 6.

Maroon also echoed Bruins teammate Jake DeBrusk’s opinion about the importance of a fast start in front of home fans.

“Yeah, we haven’t had a good start at home,” Maroon explained. “I believe that’s the key. I believed we did a nice job in the last game. Tonight, we need to find a way to get pucks in early. Play easy hockey and figure out how to get our feet underneath us. Play with a little confidence and poise.

The Bruins are hoping to escape elimination and force a Game 7 against the Panthers in their second-round playoff series.
