Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is getting an ankle MRI

Coach Kevin Stefanski has confirmed that Deshaun Watson, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, will have an MRI on his left ankle on Monday.

Following Sunday’s 33-31 victory against Baltimore, Watson was sporting a walking boot, but he stated he did not anticipate missing any time.

After throwing for 213 yards and a touchdown against the Ravens, he declared, “I’ll be fine.” “I’m not feeling well right now, but I’ll be alright. I’ll be prepared to leave.

Near the end of the second quarter, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney of the Ravens rolled up on Watson’s leg, injuring him. Watson is 28 years old. During the final play of the first half, backup P.J. Walker entered the game.

This Sunday, the Browns (6-3) will play host to the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) in another crucial AFC North game. After two straight victories, both teams are pursuing the Ravens (7-3).

In the game against Baltimore, Watson completed 20 of 34 passes with one interception and ran eight times for 37 yards. His 10-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Moore, which started a comeback that was capped by Dustin Hopkins’ 40-yard walk-off field goal, helped the team overcome a 31-17 deficit in the fourth quarter.
