Browns and Ravens early injury reports on Sunday

Marlon Humphrey and Keaton Mitchell appear likely to play

Today’s game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns is crucial for the AFC North. With back-to-back games against AFC North opponents, Weeks 10 and 11 could determine the outcome of the division for both teams.

Both of the Browns’ starting offensive tackles are sidelined due to serious injuries as of Week 10, but the Ravens are largely healthy.

Out of the total number of injured players, Baltimore had four and Cleveland had two uncertain players. It’s possible that CB Greg Newsome II might play now that the Browns have elevated CB AJ Green.

RB Keaton Mitchell and CB Marlon Humphrey are two of the Ravens’ three starting wide receivers. Reports from overnight are more upbeat regarding Mitchell:

#Ravens rookie running back Keaton Mitchell (questionable, hamstring) — who exploded for 138 rushing yards and a touchdown in his first game action last week — is expected to play Sunday vs. #Browns, per source.

Humphrey appears to be a real game-time choice:

#Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell, who tweaked his hamstring early this week but was a full participant on Friday, is expected to play today, source said. Pro Bowl CB Marlon Humphrey (hamstring) is optimistic about playing but needs to clear a pre-game warmup first.

Now that the season’s halfway mark has passed, injuries will remain a major plot aspect for the remainder of it.

Around 11:30 AM today, we will receive the official inactivity reports from both clubs.
