The Seagulls have a long list of injuries.

Ipswich Town, led by Kieran McKenna, have had a rough start to life in the Premier League, losing to Manchester City and Liverpool. However, they began the season with a 1-1 draw at Portman Road against Fulham.

Solly March, the Albion winger, is still rehabilitating from a horrific ACL injury sustained while playing against Manchester City the previous season. There is a chance he will return in October.

Gruda Brajan, the £25 million summer signing from Mainz, will miss this encounter as he recovers from an unexplained illness.

Ferdi Kadioglu, a Turkey international, was injured during practice following his £25 million deal from Fenerbache. It is expected that the left-back will miss this encounter against Ipswich.

Riley Matt, Celtic’s £25 million summer addition, was injured six minutes into his debut and required ankle surgery. Expected to return before the end of the 2024-25 season.

Mats Wieffer, the Netherlands’ midfielder, suffered a slight injury when making his debut against Everton. Hurzeler expects him to return against Ipswich following the international break.

James Milner, 38, is expected to be out after suffering a hamstring injury against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium prior to the international break.

Joel Veltman, the experienced defender, sustained a thigh injury during his dramatic confrontation with Declan Rice. Harry Clarke, an Ipswich defender, will be unable to play until next month owing to a calf injury.
