Breaking: West Ham £125K star on his way out

West Ham United is prepared to listen to new bids for striker Danny Ings this summer, according to a new report.

The 31-year-old has seen little playing time since signing from Aston Villa in 2023, scoring only once in 27 outings. Only seven of these outings were starts. Overall, he has four goals in 49 West Ham games.

West Ham are apparently looking to reduce their wage bill. According to capology.com, Ings’ weekly wage of £125,000 is worth £6.5 million for the 2024-25 season.

West Ham’s willingness to sell Ings underlines a planned striker revamp this summer. Michail Antonio, whose contract expires in June, is also poised to depart the club. These withdrawals indicate that West Ham will be aggressively seeking replacements.

Sources have indicated that West Ham is planning a significant summer transfer window, potentially involving four to six signings across various positions.

Yet another expensive mistake for the Irons!
