Paris Saint-Germain is apparently seeking for another left-back to provide depth behind Nuno Mendes.

This week, there was a report that the capital club was interested in Stade Brestois’ Bradley Locko, but that possibility has since faded.

Locko appeared in 35 games for Brest, assisting three times, and contributed to the club’s outstanding 2023-24 season, which saw them earn an automatic UEFA Champions League spot for this season.

As a result, it’s no wonder that players like Locko are attracting attention from big clubs. PSG was not the only team interested in signing the 22-year-old during the summer transfer window.

The Stade Brestois defender is also a target for Premier League club Nottingham Forest. However, a move to England’s top division or to Paris will not materialize.

Brest confirmed on Friday that Locko damaged his Achilles tendon during a training session. The Ligue 1 club did not provide a date for his return when they announced it on Twitter.

This development indicates that PSG will need to search elsewhere to strengthen their left-back position in order to compete in all three championships this season.
