Breaking: Ipswich Town star has disclosed his future at the club

Vaclav Hladky, the goalkeeper for Ipswich Town, has expressed his desire to “stay” this summer.

This season, Ipswich Town wants to move up to the Premier League from the Championship.

Hladky, 33, is scheduled to become a free agent as of right now because his contract expires at the end of June.

According to a source, he has given this update on his future: “The only thing I know is that the contract is not signed yet. Another person can be questioned.

“The main reason is that I want to stay here since it’s a big club and I enjoy coming here every day. Without a doubt, I want to stay here. I’m hoping we can figure something out.

Hladky has made 42 appearances for Ipswich this season across all competitions, recording 13 clean sheets.

Whether to cling onto him longer or let him go out the exit door is a crucial option that they must make.

Because of his ability to use his feet, Kieran McKenna has chosen to employ him a lot more after the Tractor Boys were promoted from League One.

Hladky is a very seasoned player who is valuable to have in and around the squad. He might not, however, be assured of the top rank going forward because Ipswich will inevitably aim to get better.

In 2019, he relocated to the UK after being signed by St Mirren. The 6′ 4″ player was a player for Slovan Liberec and FC Zbrojovka Brno before moving to Scotland.

Before Salford City enticed Hladky south of the border, he appeared in 59 games for the Buddies. Before making the transition to the Ipswich, he previously played 53 games for the Ammies.

This evening, McKenna’s team returns to action at home against Watford. They will be eager to capitalize on Leeds United’s and Leicester City’s losses to Millwall and Sunderland, respectively, yesterday night.

The Tractor Boys, who were defeated 1-0 on the road by rivals Norwich City the previous game, will be keen to get better. If they defeated the Hornets, they would return to the top two.
