Breaking: Class of 2027 quarterback set for return after…

QB William Jackson, a member of the class of 2027, and his father made their first visit to Arkansas with the intention of leaving after two days to visit the Hogs.

After spending Monday and Tuesday in Arkansas, Jackson declared, “It was fantastic.”Residents of the community, the school, the team, and the coaches.” I had so much fun, I can’t wait to go again. Wright’s Barbecue has some of the best brisket I’ve ever had.

On January 6, Arkansas offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino extended the first Power 5 scholarship offer to Jackson, a 6-4, 190-pound resident of Orlando, Florida’s Lake Minneola. In addition, he has offers from Florida International, Marshall, and Rhode Island.

Although he claimed that every aspect of his visit was noteworthy, he cited Coach Sam Pittman, Petrino, and offensive analyst Miles Fishback as the highlights.

“The best part had to be getting to talk with Coach Pittman, Petrino, and Fishback and learning more about them and how they work,” he remarked. “I am very excited to establish a long-term relationship with them. I was quite at ease when I was here.

Fayetteville and its environs exceeded Jackson’s expectations.

Jackson remarked, “There’s a lot more to the area than I thought.” “I had assumed it would be quite rural and country. As my dad and I looked about, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of activities to do in the region. Lots of delicious meals.

His father equally enjoyed the visit and food.

“He loved it,” he said. “He said the coaches seemed very genuine and was impressed with the graduation rate for football players. He liked the food too.”
