The Los Angeles Angels’ season hasn’t gone as planned, as they currently rank fourth in the American League West.

Despite a change in management, the squad has been unable to demonstrate consistency, which has cost them points in the standings.

This allows the Angels to become active sellers at the trade deadline. We just have a few weeks till the deadline, and the Halos could be one of the more exciting clubs in it.

According to MLB insider Jim Bowden of The Athletic, the Angels have a few players attracting attention from other teams. One of these is outfielder Taylor Ward, who the Atlanta Braves are allegedly interested in.

Since Ronald Acuña Jr.’s season-ending knee injury, the Braves have been working to improve their outfield room. They signed Eddie Rosario to a minor-league contract after the Nationals dismissed him last week, and then recalled the 2021 NLCS MVP on Sunday. Jazz Chisholm Jr., Taylor Ward of the Angels, Randy Arozarena of the Rays, and Tommy Pham of the White Sox are all potential outfield trade targets.

Atlanta is attempting to improve its chances of remaining competitive after repeated outfield injuries. Ward might be a terrific fit for them, and the Angels could get some valuable future assets if they decide to trade him.

Ward has .230 batting average this season, with 14 home runs and 44 RBI. He may be a valuable addition to the Braves lineup, but it remains to be seen whether the Halos will part ways with him.
