Ty Haywood has made a verbal commitment to Alabama football.
The five-star offensive tackle attended Ryan High School in Denton, Texas. His commitment brings the Crimson Tide’s total commitments to five offensive linemen in 2025.
Haywood, a 6-foot-6 offensive tackle for Ryan High School (TX), weighs 295 pounds. His power and stature enable him to physically overwhelm the majority of high school defensive lineman.
He appears to have a thorough command of a wide range of blocking duties. He has proven to be effective in pass protection, zone blocking, and combination blocking. He also appears to be at ease blocking in space, given his ability to reach the second level.
