Braves shares the trick to keeping healthy for the whole

Spring training is started, and Ozzie Albies is preparing for another season with the Atlanta Braves.

Albies, a three-time All-Star, will be critical to the Braves this season as they attempt to return to the World Series after losing back-to-back Divisional Series games the previous two years.

Of course, Albies understands that in order for him to make an effect on the field, he must remain fit. On the Foul Territory podcast, the second baseman discussed his preparations for the 162-game season.

The 27-year-old also prioritizes quality above quantity in his work.

“You know, it’s not about quantity, It’s quality work to keep me in the good route to play the whole season,” he said.

Based on Albies’ performance in 2023, this routine appears to have been successful. The two-time Silver Slugger blasted 33 home runs, drove in 109 runs, slashed.280/.336/.513, and had an.849 OPS to go along with 4.7 WAR. In addition, Albies finished 16th in the National League MVP race.

The Braves are projected to have a successful 2024 campaign after securing their best stars for the following season. Expectations are high, particularly as Ronald Acuña Jr. continues to lead the way. So, for Ozzie Albies, an intact team offers another shot at a second World Series championship.
