Braves Announce $10 Million Truist Park Upgrades for 2024 Season

The Atlanta Braves have completed the first stage of a multi-phase plan to enhance Truist Park.

The Atlanta Braves today announced a number of enhancements to Truist Park for the 2024 season.

Designed to improve the fan experience, the $10 million project featured the construction of ‘Jim Beam Bourbon Decks’ in left field, as well as the renovation and expansion of rooftop spaces to accommodate larger groups and better facilities.

The Jim Beam Bourbon Decks, located in sections 1423 and 143, provide a new location with priority access to a 60’6 bar, which matches the distance from the pitching rubber to home plate. The bar, which serves both fans on the concourse and in the VIP area, is named after the legendary whiskey brand Jim Beam.

Furthermore, the organization has worked on the rooftop spaces, increasing capacity and providing extra facilities.

The rooftop spaces can now host groups up to 210 people, and there is a new Blue Moon Beer Garden on the rooftop.

According to the team, the changes total around $10 million and are only the first step in a “multiphase plan” to improve the fan experience at Truist Park over the next few seasons.

Truist Park, which opened in 2017, is considered one of the premier venues in all of Major League Baseball. The ballpark and the surrounding mixed-use development, The Battery Atlanta, are the reigning standard for modern ballpark construction, seating 41,000 fans in what is called a “intimate setting”.
