Brad Marchand’s mother believes he should play tonight

As everyone can see, the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers are facing off in their second-round Eastern Conference matchup.

Indeed, both sides are giving everything they have to defeat their opponents.

The Panthers are presently leading the series 3-2.
The Bruins won Game 5 on Wednesday, and today they’ll seek to even the series and force a Game 7.

However, it remained uncertain this morning if the Bruins could bank on captain Brad Marchand’s return to duty.

Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery stated that Marchand would be a last-minute decision.
The suspense was supposed to last until tonight, however there is finally some news about the situation.

In an interview with 7 News Boston, Brad Marchand’s mother intimated that her son could play tonight.

Brad Marchand’s mother, Lynn Marchand, stated her son was healthy and eager to get on the ice tonight to extend the series against the Panthers.

Is Marchand’s mother making a mistake in inquiring about her son’s health and availability for tonight’s game, or is she merely implying that her son is eager to play?

We can’t say for certain, but it’s evident that Ms. Marchand got away with discussing her son.

In summary, it will be very intriguing to watch if Marchand returns to the lineup tonight after suffering a minor dirty trick from Sam Bennett earlier in the series.
Marchand does not blame Bennett, by the way.

Based on what we know about Marchand as a warrior and competitor, I believe he will play tonight and help the Bruins win.

– Here are the changes on the Panthers’ side for tonight’s game.

Well, well.

– To be continued.
