BLUES LOOKING TO SIGN A STRIKER IN THE JANUARY WINDOW

The Blues are allegedly interested in bringing in a new attacker during the January transfer window.

Musa Drammeh, 22, plays in the Spanish second division for Sevilla’s B team, Sevilla Atletico.

Following his strong accomplishments this season, he is likely to be called up to their first squad shortly.

Drammeh can play anywhere in the front line, but he is best suited as a central striker.

In fourteen games this season, he has scored five goals and provided two assists.

With his current contract set to expire in six months, he is expected to be available for a reduced sum when the January transfer window opens.

Blues will face competition for his signature, with Sunderland also rumored to be interested in the Gambian forward.

Drammeh would be a wonderful addition to the Blues, giving squad depth to Rooney’s existing offensive options of Hogan, Jutkiewicz, Burke, and Stansfield.

With Sunderland’s strikers failed to score this season, they are likely to press hard for this deal, so the Blues will need to act quickly if they want to bring Drammeh to St Andrew’s.
