Blues are going to be set, according to Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney is unfazed by the idea of facing Leicester City, the Sky Bet Championship leaders.

Enzo Maresca’s side visits St. Andrew’s on Monday 18 December, kick-off 8pm, for the Men’s First Team’s final home game before Christmas, which falls on Blue Nose Day.

This follows a brilliant midweek trip to Cardiff, where the Manager’s second win in charge was the Culb’s first-ever triumph at the Cardiff City Stadium, courtesy to Juninho Bacuna’s fantastic effort.

Rooney saved some time in his post-match media responsibilities after his team defeated Cardiff City to anticipate the Foxes’ visit to B9, appraising the opposition and describing Birmingham City’s preparations.

“On Monday, it will be a very difficult game against one of the best teams in the division, but I think getting the win tonight gives the lads a lot of belief and confidence.”

“We will be ready and prepared.” We now have a couple of days before that game for the boys to rest and prepare for a difficult game.

“We will do everything we can to get three points.”
